We have a variety of activities scheduled throughout the month. Some are monthly, while others are weekly. With the exception of Mom's Night Out, all activities are during the day and CHILDREN ARE ALWAYS WELCOME! Below we have listed some of our activities/events. We are always open to adding new events and ideas!
Our business meetings are held once a month to discuss upcoming activities and vote on issues concerning the club. We might have a guest speaker from our community to present information on various issues important to our members. This is also an opportunity for new members to join.
These special events are open to the public. Please check back here or in the local newspaper for more details about our upcoming 2010 Open House.
Field trips are planned once or twice a month. These special trips are open to the entire club but not all field trips are great for all age groups. Past field trips have included the zoo, a miniature horse farm, a petting farm, strawberry picking, the fire department, a pumpkin patch, museums, and a water park.
MOMS Night Out is terrific! It is a chance to go out with your friends and have some fun. Past activities have included dinner, movies, and other specialty activities. Although kids are not prohibited, most moms try to make other arrangements for their children. For moms with newborns this is often not an option, so don't worry about bringing him or her along.
Every MOMS Club chapter is required to perform at least one service project per year that will benefit children. We try to select causes or groups in our area that support moms and/or kids. Visit our Community Outreach page to learn more about how we help in our community!
